Mahjong Lessons - Private Group

Host a private social for 8 to learn mahjong at the Beauty Shop. All you and your friends need to do is show up, and we will host a memorable event. Perfect for friends night out, birthdays or simply for roping your friends into learning mahjong with you. Light refreshments provided, and outside food & beverage is allowed.

Choose either a 101 or 102 class for your group, or schedule both.

101 Social Lesson is 2.5 hours packed with learning and covers:
- Overview of the game
- Understanding the tiles & suits
- Rules & objectives of the game
- Flow of game play
- Beginner strategy
- 4-8 players per lesson

You will have the opportunity to interact at a game table and play an "open hand" game. Lesson includes take home guide & cheat sheets as well as special in-store offers.

102 Social and Lesson is 2.5 hours and introduces strategy and allows for coached play:
- Overview of mahjong strategy
- Train your brain to see lines
- Charleston strategy
- Beginner defense
- Semi-open-hand coached play means you will play at a mahjong table with opponents.

You will not show your hand, however opportunities for strategy and defense will be shared to the group by the coach.
